Deep within a forest abandoned by all but the dead stands The Skullroot Tree — an ancient, twisted giant whose roots have consumed the ruins and graves beneath it.

Its gnarled trunk has warped into a monstrous skull, forming a terrifying entrance between jagged wooden teeth. Twisted roots crawl across the surrounding earth, engulfing gravestones, skulls and the remnants of those unfortunate enough to wander too close. Beyond its open maw, a dark passage leads deeper beneath the forest — but where it ends is for the Dungeon Master to decide.
